The Lunchtime Legends are a group of athletes who meet weekday lunchtimes in various venues in Belfast. This site provides news of the Legends training sessions, events at which Legends compete and a discussion page for witty banter.

Firestarter Pete

The Monument race on the 18th June saw the end of this year's Hill and Dales. The event was moved from the usual Friday night to a Thursday due to some band known as the Prodigy. 'Scary' David Hughes of team ACKC was the recipient of the Runner's Runner award. Previous winners have been Tom Donnelly, Wes Kettyle and Barbara Brown.

Swimming Tuesday and Thursday

Due to the PEC swimming pool closure for 3 months the Legends swim sessions have moved to the Olympia Leisure centre. Same times as before:-

Tue at 1pm
Thu at 1pm

It's a nice shallow pool where the few early turners have two opportunites for a shortcut. How very un-Legend like!
